Happy Spring and did we get a present from Mother Nature or what? The snow coming down was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. It was nice to sit in my living room in front of the wood stove and watch it coming down knowing I did not have to be out in it. But today it will all be gone as the temperature is supposed to get up to 70 degrees.
We hope that with the great spring weather will come some buyers ready to get out and look at property and then BUY! Remember the TAX CREDIT ends on April 30. The property must be under contract by April 30 and close by July 1 to qualify for the credit of $8000 for a first time home buyer and $6500 for a move-up buyer. We have had two great Realtor After Hours the past two months. The first was sponsored by WACO Title and Trust Title and was held upstairs at the Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette office. Our April meeting will be a luncheon meeting at the Center for Non-Profits and Awards for Excellence will be given out. The meeting will be held on Thursday April 15 (tax day!) and will start serving at 11:30am. Make your plans to be there.
